弊所は、1991年設立で、今年で丸30年となります。設立以来、私朝比が外国部代表として、また増田が国内部代表として2名でパートナー経営をしてまいりました。朝比は来年で67歳となり、この機会に、2021年12月末で外国部代表を退任し、新たに弁理士江部武史が2022年1月から外国部代表に就任することになりました。朝比が外国部代表として在任中の30年間、朝比・増田特許事務所は、皆様に多大なご指導ご鞭撻を賜り、心より感謝申し上げます。
後任の江部は、17年近い弁理士経験を有しており、内外のクライアントや所員からも厚い信頼を得ております。また、私朝比も引き続き顧問として勤務いたします。そのため、皆様にご提供するサービスに変わりなく、むしろ若い江部のリーダーシップの下で、さらなるサービスの向上もできるものと確信している次第でございます。なお、国内部代表の増田は、現状のままです。

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE CHANGE OF THE REPRESENTATIVE OF FOREIGN DEPARTMENT OF ASAHI & MASUDA
Please be announced that ASAHI & MASUDA was established on 1991 and welcomes thirty years anniversary in this year. Since the establishment of ASAHI & MASUDA, Mr. Kazuo ASAHI has been a representative of the foreign department while Mr. Tatsuya MASUDA has been a representative of the domestic department and has managed our firm with the partnership of the two patent attorneys. Since Mr. ASAHI will become 67 years old on the next year, and thus taking this 30th year anniversary opportunity Mr. ASAHI has decided to resign the representative of the foreign department on the end of this year and instead thereof Mr. Takeshi EBE will succeed the position of Mr. ASAHI from January of 2022. For the thirty years in which Mr. ASAHI has been the representative of the foreign department, ASAHI & MASUDA sincerely appreciate for your great support and cooperation.
Mr. EBE has an experience as a patent attorney more than 17 years. Further, he receives a great confidence from many foreign and domestic clients as well as firm staffs. And Mr. ASAHI continues to stay in this firm as a counsel. Therefore, we believe that we will be able to continue to provide you with excellent services the same as before, and improved services under the leadership of Mr. EBE. Note that Mr. MASUDA will remain at the present position.
