クラフトフェア (Arts & Craft Fair)

気づけば半年程、在宅勤務にて働いております。
皆様お元気でしょうか。

先日、初夏のような陽気の中で開催されたクラフトフェアに行ってきました。
このイベントでは主に陶器、植物、アクセサリー、食べ物等が日本全国から集まり、作家さんから直接作品や商品を購入することができます。出展には厳しい選考があるようで、いつも素敵な作品が並んでいます。テーマが設けられる時は、作家さんたちはテーマに沿った作品を準備されます。今回はテーマがなく「自由な提案を楽しむ」でした。そのため、同じ作家さんが参加されていても違った作品に出会える楽しみもあります。
開催地である神社は、自然豊かな場所にあり、お散歩するだけでもとても気持ちの良い場所です。

クラフトフェアは日本各地で開催されていますが、長野県の松本市のクラフトフェアは、規模も大きく有名なようなので、いつか行ってみたいイベントの一つです。

It’s been about half a year working remotely.
I hope everyone is doing well.

These days, the weather is like an early summer in Japan. I visited Arts & Craft Fair where you can get items like pottery, plants, accessories and food from artists or chefs throughout Japan.
As there is a strict selection to run a booth at this event, I find something wonderful each time.
When there is a theme of the event, artists create their items according to its theme.
This time, there was no particular theme, so I simply enjoyed the items created by the artists.
Even the same artists run a booth at this event, you will find new items each time.
This event is held at a shrine surrounded by nature which is also good for walking.

This kind of event is held all over Japan. The biggest one is held in Matsumoto city in Nagano which I want to visit one day.
